Bye Bye 2007, and Hello 2008

Just a few more hours then 2007 will be history, and a brand new year will come. Recap back on what I had done this year, for me it was an amazing year. I have experience a lot of new thing, new challenge, and learn a lot. Here my dear reader will share some of the important event which had happen in my life on the year 2007.


On the start of 2007, I’ve learn how to play drums at my friends Music school. But this is not my cup of tea.


Together with my friends we went to Saujana Resort and Spa Hotel for a trip. It was fun.

My 2007 have Happy, Anger, Sorrow, and Pain, but no mater how is the feeling, for me it was a wonderful 2007, and I’m looking forward to 2008. Here I wish all of you a Happy New Year 2008 :)

Pre Christmas Celebration @ Kuching Sarawak General Hospital

Christmas is just around the corner so last Sunday, my friends and I had visited the children at Kuching General Hospital. We have prepare a series of activities line up specially for them. Is a Christmas party so we all had agree to spread the joy of Christmas with the children and the parents as well. Lack of manpower, so I’ve gather few of my friends to join in the activity, and also the friends from the Buddhist association.

We have reach the general hospital around 6.00pm. When we proceed to the children ward, when I enter there are many Christmas cards, xmas trees, jingle bells, little Santa Clause, and many other Christmas decorations. The ward is full of Christmas joy. We had prepare food, Christmas song, Christmas Hat, guitar, Christmas card, present, a big Christmas cake, and a heart which fill with Christmas joy. All of our activity had gone smoothly, we sing song together, and we’ve pray together with the children to wish them and their parent happy, we share a little light refreshment with them, and give them and the nurse a Christmas present each. The part which makes me feel really happy is to see all the parents, the nurses, and the children happily clapping their hand, singing together with us “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”.

We with a healthy body, we have a choice to choose on how we want to live our life, to be healthy or to get sick. But for them, they can’t, they are born this way. We have no power to make them get well, but what we can do is to make them feel happy. We all should be grateful, take good care of our health, and live life the right way. Cherish the one we love and care, remember of our parent who took care of us, brother and sister who grow up with us, friends who share happy and sorrow with us, love one who love us the most, teacher who educate us, and ourselves.

I do some explanation on our program flow for that night, I’ve forgot all the scrip that I’ve prepare earlier. The guy in the blue shirt is my buddy, he haven’t play guitar for quite a while, but for that night charity event, he is kind enough to play the guitar for us once more, he had practice very hardly for this event. A million thanks to Peter Phang.

A few of my friends had join in the fun as well, they are distributing the food evenly for each and everyone in the ward.


The food, and fruits are sponsor by a kind auntie which always goes to the Buddhist temple. A million thanks to Auntie Yue Feng.


My Christmas hat is the coolest among all *hahaha* this part is where are sing “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” for the children and the parent. I can see they like our singing very much.


I love Christmas very much, it gives me a warm feeling, and Christmas is like putting a beautiful and joyful ending feeling to the year 2007, and start a brand new exciting year of 2008.


Even little kids start to dance when we sang the Christmas song.


We also had a lighting activity ceremony, we light up a candle and requested them to make Christmas wishes, or they can pray to God to bless their children to happy, and of course get well soon.


We have prepare a lot of self-made xmas card, the children can write their name on the card, and this will be the present their children to give to their parent during this xmas.

A Christmas Party will not complete without present, of course the final part of our event is to give present to all of the nurse, the parents, and the children. Merry Christmas to all of them.

Just when we’re about to go home, the nurse from the ward next door had requested us to perform the same event as well. I can’t resist this good offer, so yes let do it again then. So that night we had two round of charity activities.


Some of the Children is shy when see us, but we all did get along very well after that.


Parent the greatest person in the WORLD, standby us all the time. A Big hug to all the great parents out there. Thank you, thank you


wow~~event the nurse start to join in the fun, I’m glad that the show had go right according to plan, and the most important is everyone enjoy themselves and happy.

2006 Christmas Visitation

Dragon tail? Nop, is a long kite. The owner told me that he comes to this kite garden only when the weather is good.

Panorama Central Park, Kuching

Central Park is a busy commercial center, but it also have its beauty if look carefully. Now is the raining session at Kuching, lucky I didn't wash my car yesterday, today rain heavily.

Pink

The weather is hot, the sun is burning me. I was on my way to buy some fruits to bring to the Buddha Temple tonight. This is the Kuching Sunday Market, but it starts to operate biz at every Saturday evening. When I pass by the hardware and clothes section, the canvas reflection had made the ambience pink color. It’s a very interesting scene. I bought three honey dews, two watermelon, a few apples, and oranges.

The Mist After The Rain

It was a Sunday evening, and I’m on my way back to grandma house. After four days of downpour it had finally stopped. I want to avoid the traffic, so I’ve use alternative road, the journey is longer but less traffic. I was concentrate on my driving, I’m speeding and it feels good. The road is wet, and the air is cold. I open my car windows to let the cold air in, just when I pass by the paddy field, I turn my head to my left, and saw that mount. She’s cover by a layer of thin mist, all the grass and trees below the mount looks fresh green. I’m stun by these beautiful scenes. Immediately I stop my car beside the road, looking for that perfect angle to capture this view.


I didn’t recharge my camera for few days, I was worried that it would ran out of batt, but lucky it didn’t.


People who live there, they don’t need any air-conditioner. They have mother nature to give them cool air already.


I just love to see this kind of misty view, it somehow gives a mystery feels to me.

Bye Bye Office

One of my co-worker are going to another place to venture her working life. Before she left, she had told me a lot of “inside” story of the company. When it comes to office politic, I’ll handle it with the “Let It Be” attitude, I don’t want to get involve in any groups, or any gossip, or any other sensitive matter. Before you start work, you have to know how to know how to be nice and get along with people first. My friend here is a little over calculative; when I listen to her “story” I notice that most of the problems come from her. I asked her one question, “How do you know that this will not happen in your new work place?” And she answers me with full confident that “This company is not like the current one, I know *** and she is my friend inside, and I’ve also know *** she’s the director daughter…bla bla bla…”

From my personal view, every company is not the same. If you don’t change your own attitude, no mater where you go, you will still face the same problem, so you will keep on changing from one company to another. I can’t advice much for my friend here, she’s too clever to listen to my advice, what I can do it to wish her good luck in her new work place, and hope that she’ll be happy. My self is like her few years back, always blaming the whole world, complaining, and getting angry easily. Now I notice though I have fussy boss, co-worker. But if I keep a positive attitude, just let it be, and life will be easier, and happier.
