Went to Kenwy birthday party last night, he is er…30 years old I think. He owns two music schools, which he establishes 3 years ago. He has a P.H.D in music. I very envy him not because of the latent, but he can work with the thing that he like, music everyday. While for me I still have to work for people, and do the thing that I don’t like. We had a very fun night, but I went home early cause I have to go clean my grandpa grave tomorrow morning.

A Bad Tragedy

I went to the General Hospital to visit my uncle. That morning, as usual he ride his old motor bike to the shop. Suddenly a policeman driving a car, come out from no way and hit on uncle bike. Uncle flew off from his bike, fall on the ground. His helmet had flown away, so his face had hit the ground unprotected. The police man had gone to the nearby police station, log a report, and requested his friend to send uncle to the Kota Sentosa Hospital at 7th Mile. Due to the serious condition, my uncle was escort to Kuching General Hospital. When I reach the hospital, I saw that uncle had suffered some brutal cut on his hand, and face. His left face had extravasated blood. He is now in a very danger condition. According to the doctor, he had suffered an inner bleeding inside the skull. That’s why he is unconscious, and need to put a tube in his throat to pump oxygen into his lung.

I had a dinner that night, so I can’t stay long. When I leave the hospital, uncle is still waiting for the doctor. Hope he will be fine.

Supper @ Jalan Song

At the food court of Jalan Song Kuching, there is one stall, a BBQ food stall very unique. The stall operate by a lady from China, the food that she sell beside meat, she also sell barbeque veggie. No wonder my vegetarian friends like this stall so much. I went to try out the food last night. We had this barbeque cucumber, long bean, and potato. She marinates the veggie with curry paste. I had char kuit tiao, I drink too much tea that night. Sleep around 3am.

Dinner @ Mr Teppanyaki

This is an old post, during my stay at KL. The night before back to Kuching, I had a very late dinner at one of a restaurant. I had Japanese food at Mr Teppanyaki. To compare with Sushi King, here they don’t have a spinning table with sushi displaying on top, is a simple alacarte style restaurant. That day I work very late, rice is just what I need for energy. I had a set dinner which cost around RM15. like the taste, I had chicken and a glass of orange juice.


One of the best thing is I can watch how the chef cook my meal live. Very professional.

Dinner @ Sushi King

I had Japanese Food for dinner yesterday. Went to the Boulevard branch Sushi King. Upon entering the restaurant “KONICHIWA!!!” a waiters greed us at the entrance. If they greed us with a more gentle voice, and bow it would be better. The counter is on the left side of the entrance, there’s a spinning table in the middle of the restaurant, as usual there are lots of sushi displaying on the spinning table for selection. My friend and I had chosen to sit at the corner. Sushi King offer a reasonable price, this is good cause people with low lever income can afford to try out sushi as well. I like it here, will come here often.

This is my drink pure apple juice, taste good. I like the expandable straw. This Japanese are creative indeed.

IT Expo Fair @ Unimas Kuching Sarawak

Over the pass weekend, our company had participate in the IT Expo sales held at University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas). Overall the three days respond is not good. We had our IT Expo fair at the old campus, whereas it only have two faculties left at the old campus, all of the faculties had move to the new campus of Unimas. Walking distance is around 20 minutes from new to old campus, so the students are lazy to come over. And the fair is held during the weekend, most of the students gone back their home on the weekend.

From the look of my boss face, I can tell that he’s not happy. Next time if I see the organizer again, definitely I’m going to kick his ass for offering me this wonderful business. Once again this show the advantage of working with other people, after the fair we need to load all the stock back to office, unpack them, calculate the sales, the net profit, the stock inventory, handles after sales service.

The more I work, the more I’m lost. Sometime I just don’t know what’s the meaning, or purpose of me doing all of this besides having food on my table. Really feels like breaking away from this rat race.


My pass to the IT Expo 2008


Just look at the crowd :( our fair is from 11am to 9pm, each night from 6pm onward, there are no more students come to this fair. This is a disaster.


Just when our fair starts, a group of kindergarten kids came visit my stall, make a lot of noise, and play around with our stock.


This is the Kuching Open Source Community, giving free installation on the Ubuntu OS. The interface is pretty, I will get one soon.
