Starting from 13 June till 13 July, I’m challenging myself to become a full time vegetarian for one month. Well, for the past week I’ve not taken any meat. At first I would think of it is impossible, but when I really try is not that bad at all. Just sometime I’ll craving for meat when saw KFC advertisement, pass by a fried chicken stall, seeing other people eating meat. But I must overcome this, and success in this challenge. Well, what did I have for the first week of my vegetarian adventure quest…

On the first day 13.06.08, I’ve had a plate of fried noodles with no meat, no garlic, and no onions in it. Then I had a vegetarian meat bun for my lunch.

On the evening, I went to Song Keng Hai for a drink with friend. We went to stall number 24 Ching Chang Drink Stall. I like the drink with sugarcane mix with coconut, the weather is hot, and I had my second drink lemon mix with sour plum.

14.06.08 On the second day of my vegetarian quest. I went to the Shang Seng Buddhist Temple to had my lunch, it has a café in the temple, and it’s only open at Saturday and Sunday. Well I had a Cup Rice RM5, is serve with carrot, bean curd (tau fu), small mushrooms, vegetarian meat, and two slices of cucumber. A pot of chrysanthemum tea RM5, and a bow of curry RM4.50.

15.06.08, The next day I went back to Shang Seng Buddhist Temple café again for my brunch. I had a Sweet and Sour Seaweed RM4, Vegetarian Ghost Meat Rice RM5, and Ginkgo Bean Curt Soup RM3. My drink is a complement from the café.

That evening I company my friend to Boulevard, we went to the Desserts Ice-Cream shop. I had a soup of Peanut and Mint Ice-Cream.

17.06.08, Weekdays I went to the fast food stall to settle my lunch.

19.06.08, Is Thursday, went to a dinner at Tian Fu Vegetarian restaurant. I like the food there, they’re very creative. And the food was awesome :)

20.06.08, Friday, aww~~~I start to miss fried chicken. My friend invited a very special guest to have lunch at the temple, and I’m lucky enough to join in the lunch. The food consists of Tomato Fish, Curry, Vegetarian Meat, Manichai vegetable, Beans Curt, and Fruits.

21.06.08, Saturday, Is been one week I’m on vegetarian. That evening I went to Tian Fu Restaurant for lunch. Had a set lunch which consists of a pail of vegetarian meat with black pepper sauce, bean curt, and satay (the taste of this satay are exactly the same like meat), and a plate of complement peanut.
