  In the heart of an oil palm plantation, Mic and I embarked on a journey that would test our limits and redefine our perception of the wild. Armed with a map and fueled by curiosity, we set our sights on a mysterious valley located 5 kilometres away from our starting point. Little did we know that this expedition would lead us on an epic quest through scorching heat, impenetrable jungles, and ultimately, to the revelation of a hidden oasis. Our adventure commenced on the plantation, where the scorching sun beat down upon us as we ventured along a forgotten logging road. The path was unrelenting, devoid of shelter, and we felt our strength ebb under the relentless sun.   I woke up early on a Saturday morning, excited to meet up with my friends and embark on a new adventure. We had planned to hike to a waterfall in the Lupar Basin, and I couldn't wait to explore the jungle and see the natural beauty that awaited us. I hopped in my car and drove all the way to the meetup point, eager to start our journey. As we began our hike, I immediately noticed how humid the jungle was.
