I visited this place back in 2011, and that time the suspension bridge (top) are still operating, and after 3 years the bridge was replace by a new concrete bridge.
The weather are hot here at Ranau. We rented this lodge type, there there are private place with tubes and wash room. they connected the hot sprint water by tab, and we can mix the amount of hot water we want.
This place will be the source of the hot water came from, strong sulfur smell here....

This is the Kinabalu Park, the starting point to climb the mount Kinabalu, this place is called Timpohom lodge. And surprisingly a lot of squirrels running around asking for food.

They are all over the trees...

They are so cute then we feed then crackers, they use their two tiny hands holding the food, and stuff into their tiny mouth. And are not afraid of human at all :O

On the way to Mt.Kinabalu park and Poring Hot Spring, a brief stop at Nabalu is recommended. It is located about 90 minutes drive from Kota kinabalu.

They sell all kinds of souvenir here, you will notice it right in from of the entrance to the village.

On our way to Kinabalu Park, we passed by the Tuaran town. Tuaran is a town as well as a district located in West Coast Division, in the northwest of Sabah, East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. The famous dishes here will be the tuaran noodles. They just put simple barbecue pork, and fried egg, but it taste really good.
