Paku Hotspring Exploration, Sarawak Borneo

Paku hotspring entrance, located at Bau district in Kuching, Sarawak. Entrance is Free as at June 2016, but make sure we all help to keep this place clean
This is the source of the hotspring, the hot water all came out from this well. Not sure how deep is this well, but the water just keeps on flowing out from it
Its good to soak here, but not recommend you to swim, very muddy, you will get cover by dirt if you bath here.

With just around 320 meters above sea level, the Bung Jagoi it's one of the most family friendly trail available in Kuching. The trail is super easy to hike, and suitable for children and old people, a good weekend gateway. Not to forget it also has a very nice viewpoint on the summit peak.  And if hiking is not your cup of tea, you can also bring your family to the waterfall, just a few mins hike at the base of the mountain.  There is a big parking space for your car, a few ringgit per car. This is a restaurant, and we paid our entrance fees here. They also offer daily tour package, which includes food.  A friend of mine bring his 70+ years old mother and two young children to hike together, and impressively she made it to the summit.  A waterfall trail just below the mountain. Mount Singai at Kuching Sarawak Infographic Mount Singai Basic Introduction In Kuching, besides the Mount Santubong , Mount Singai is one of the most prominent mount, where average hikers will reach up to more than 100 people on a normal weekend. Mount Singai is 550m above sea level, I climbed the mountain countless time. This is a sacred mountain which owns by the Bidayuh people (one of the local Sarawak ethnic group) Bi means people, dayuh means land. Mount Hosanna Chapel with Wilson Chin, Borneo Sarawak

This is the Mount Hosanna Chapel, while on my way back from Sri Aman, I drop by this place, and it is located about 157 KM from Kuching city (near Seri Aman), Malaysian Borneo. You can see this chapel just beside the Kuching - Sri Aman highway. What interesting about this place first is the design of the chapel, and second will be the story behind it, and it goes like where God spoke to the philanthropist who funded the church construction and healed his wife which is diagnose with critical illness. When I meet one of the chapel members there, and asked about this, he deny this. And told me that this is not true, and it was the priest himself who raise the fund to build this chapel. Camping Trip to Kampung Sting and Visit the Pe'an Waterfall at Bengoh Dam

This is the first time my wife and children follow me to go for a camping trip, and for this trip, I also bought a new 3 person tent from Decathlon, so in future, I can have more camping trip with my family. Let them enjoy nature together.  Raining season is just around the corner, now almost every evening it rains. So I also prepare raincoat for my kid.  And as predicted, it rains. My wife and I quickly put on the rain jacket for our boy. But it is good to let him experience.  After 15 mins of the boat ride, we reach the jetty of Mr Bodui, my friends will be staying at his homestay, while I will do camping. Its another 15 mins hike up all the way to the homestay, so my first round its to carry my boy and accompany my wife to reach the homestay after that I will come down again to get my tent and the backpack.  I have no hands to record any video or photos, it rains a bit, and my son is enjoying it. Trip to Silabur Cave, Tebakang, Serian, Kuching

I was invited by a group of close friends for a trip to a cave at Tebakang, Serian. The name of the cave is called The Silabur Cave (Gua Silabur). Tebakang, is a place with striking limestone hills with vertical cliffs. Start our trip at 7am in the morning, after an hour drive we reach a place called Tebakang at Serian. I haven’t been here for more than 10 years, I remember one of my uncle had an omni shop here, and each time when we’re at Kuching we will drove here and visit him. Tebakang is a place with just one row of wooden shop houses. And opposite the shop houses there is a river, my brother and I will always go and swim in that river with our cousin. That morning, I revisit that river again, and boy time sure flies. Now that row of wooden shop houses are nearly abandon. Next to the river, I saw a tree, my friend told me that it was the Kapok Tree, and the fruits is not for us to eat, but it will produce cotton. This is the first time that I seen a cotton tree. A

Climbing Mountain Singai

“Wilson, this Labor Day we go conquer Mt Singai, you want to join or not?” My friend called and asked me this. “No problem. Yes I like Mt Singai...er...but where is Mt Singai” I replied. Mt Singai is located at Bau, and this mountain is belong to the Catholic Memorial and Pilgrimage Center (CMPCM) so everyone is welcome. We are in a group of fifteen people, we start our journey at around 9.00am, there is a church at the middle of the mountain, to go there need to walk the staircases all the way up to the church. I was quite impressed and curious on how the people actually bring all the building materials up to the mount and build the church??!! On our way up, there are 12 small check points, and each check point imprint a short story of Jesus.
