Sunset scenery at Pasir Pandak, Santubong Kuching

DSC_0287wtmk
Kuching does not have a lot of public beaches in Town, and the one that you can go is called the Pasir Pandak, at Santubong to Kuching road. That day was around 6pm, and when reached, the place was flooded with people.

I still remember that my parents used to bring my younger brother and I to the beach when I'm little, and I really like that feeling. My favorite time of the day is the dusk, where the sun is about to set, the sky turn to a softer warm color. When most of us starts to go home after a day of hardwork, on the way home just enjoy that fine weather, and the breath taking views of the dusk.

But am kinda disapponted that day, was expecting to have a very beautiful sunset but it was covered by some dark clouds. And this is what I get....oh well, better than nothing ;)

On one of the food stalls, the owner just put his pet cameleon in front. This has created quite a fuss around that place, as people come to take picture with this fella, touch it. Surprisingly this fella just stay there, clam, and eat its veggie.

The Miri Lutong Beach

The Miri Lutong Beach, I went there with my brother one evening. Miri have a lots of public beach, and my brother told me that this is the most clean and prettiest among all. A lot of people will go there evening with friends and family, as I saw some people play kite, building sand castle, and swim. My brother and I also dive into the arms of the sea, and embrace the cold sea water. The sunsets at around 6.35pm, and we stop swimming and take time to enjoy the nice sunset view.

Serian Highest Mount, Panorama View

This is the panorama shoot I took when I was at the summit of the highest mount at Serian, Kuching. I follow two of my friends go to that place, is behind the Serian town. On top of the summit, there are three telco towers, which is the Celcom, DiGi, and Maxis telco towers.

The hight of the mount is 776 meter above sea level, and when I'm on top, the weather are slightly cozy (not as cold at like in Kota Kinabalu Mount, or Genting Highland). But is better than nothing. The way up are fully covered by tarmac, so if you have a 4 wheel drive, it will be easy for you to drive up, but the view is worth it. If you have time, you may also picnic there, with the splendid view at your back. The Beauty of Sarawak.

My mobile display "Hotlink Zone", but when I browse the web, is not fast at all !!!

Mount Kinabalu Morning View from Far Far Away....

30 Nov 2011. It was 6.10am in the morning, as my friend and I have to catch our morning flight back to Kuching. On our way from the Kinabalu Park to the Kota Kinabalu Town. While on our way downhill, mount Kinabalu slowly unveil its veil. My friend is kind enough to stop his car and let me capture this special moment.

Flowers Photography @ Kundasan, Kinabalu Park, and the Nabalu Town of Kota Kinabalu Sabah.

I went to visit Kota Kinabalu on Nov 2011, for a charity activity. And after the programs ends, I called up my friend to drive my other friends to the hilly part of Kota Kinabalu, which is to the Kundasan area, where the Mount Kinabalu is, where they have cozy weather, pretty local girls, beautiful flowers, desa cow farm, strawberries farm, tea garden, hot spring, mushroom plantation, fogging roads, budget home stay, luxurious hotel, and more!!!

I'm really happy that after one year I'm able to come back here again for another visit, so as usual, all the pretty flowers will be one of my photography topic. So my dear reader, hope you like my photos.

Cheers,
Wilson
I so wanna stay at Kundasan, Sabah forever....

I went to Buntal Village for photo shooting for the second time, but the weather is not as good as the first time. On my way to the village drizzling rain, fortunately when reached the village, it stops.

I've shoot a lot of scene photos, but this time I'll show you some of the photos not related to sunrise.

From Kota Kinabalu to Kinabalu Park (Part 2 of 2)

The panorama view on top of the Kinabalu Park

We finally reached the Kinabalu Park after hours of driving. We're excited cause able to visit the highest Mountain in the Southeast Asia, the Mount Kinabalu. I'm happy to become the family photographer, and keep on taking good picture with my family.

The weather up there are super cozy, I went to wash my hand, the water are freezing!!! and the mist keep on floating by just in front of me, the visibility are low.

We visited the starting point to climb the mount, and there is a second floor actually, but is under renovation now. My brothers and I sneak into the construction site to have a look to check the workers if they are working or not.

Just as I thought, they are sleeping there. Hey, the weather is cozy, who can resit this right. We took a lot of photos there, cause the view are nicer up there.

Then, we checked in at the place that we stay for that night. Is called the J-Residence. And good thing is that it is just 5 minutes away from the Kinabalu Park.

After we reach, we unload all our stuff. Mum and my brothers are preparing for tonight dinner. We will have steamboat dinner, so that's why today early morning we went to the fish market to buy fresh seafood.

This is the view outside our room, beautiful right! That night, we have a power blackout :( so dad have to start his car and uses the car light.

We laugh, we eat, we drink.... I'm very happy to know that my parent are enjoying the trip so far. This is a place that worth visiting again :)

Cheers

Sunrise at Buntal, Santubong, Kuching

For photographer lover at Kuching, Buntal is the famous spot for Sunrise photography. And I had the opportunity to follow a few of my buddies to shoot sunrise photos last weekend.

Reached the place around 5.50AM, and it was still dawn. But slowly I can see the sun climbing up, and releasing that powerful sun-ray, shine on us. A very magnificent moment.

Here are some of the photos I took during before and after dawn. Enjoy :)

Cheers,
Wilson
