I AM THE BORNEO EXPLORER 婆罗洲探险者

Initially we plan to conquer the Mount Rumput (as show on the map above) at 1560 m, however due to some unexpect circumstances we have to descent on the 2nd day. Mount Rumput is located at the Sematan/Lundu area on the Sarawak and Kalimantan border. After bring told by the local village people now I know that there are actually 3 mountain at the Sebako area which are: 1. The highest mount in western Sarawak - Mount Kanyi 2. The 2nd highest mount in western Sarawak - Mount Berumput 3. The 3rd highest mount in western Sarawak - Mount Pueh The three of these mount are sitting side by side, and if to go all three we maybe need to spend maybe one week in the jungle of the Sebako area. This is the Lambir Hills National Park, I visited the place 2 years ago  (click to read), and last trip I did not went to any of the waterfall, but just to the summit. And this trip is a bit relax, as I take my time to explore around, and chilling at the famous Latak Waterfall. Its just an easy 20 minutes trek from the Park HQ, when my brother and I reached the waterfall, we saw the tall waterfall with little amount of water flowing down. The Rafflesia route at Begu village, its a long and narrow ride this morning. Saw this signboard and plan to go in and have a look. A lot of mosquitoes Today is not our lucky day, cause not the booming season for the Rafflesia flower. We just have to try our luck next time The Borneo Explorer - Wilson Chin

This is the Telaga Air , the Sibu river flows into the South China Sea. It was a hot Saturday, and I'm here to get the contact details on how to get to the Sampadi Island. This is the Golden Beach, its situated It is located approximately 10 minutes drive away from the Telaga Air fishermen village, and about 35 minutes away drive from Kuching City The Satang Island can be view from the beach, I went to the Satang island before. Always plan to go back there agian, maybe a camping trip to the island. A nice place for picnic, or camping. The water mix with some mud, not very clean. A construction company plans to develop this place, to build villas here and sell to the public. It will be good to be able to own a house near the beach, just that this place is too far away from Kuching city.
