The Segong river flows out from the Serapi Mountain range, I visited the upriver of Segong area with a couple of hiking friends. And I was blown away by the crystal clear water there. Love it so much. Its an easy trek as we just hike along the riverbank Was amaze by some of the red trees along the river bank, its beautiful.  A very wired looking mushroom Some of the pool are deep, and many small fishes there. The Santubong National Park is a good place to explore and seek for adventure, it is a hidden gen waiting to be rediscover again by me. I joined my hiker friend Ian Vong  (he own the site  My Santubong & Borneo Adventure ) to the Santubong lighthouse, which is situated at the tip of the Santubong peninsular. 山都望国家公园，一个探索的好去处。我与一位登山友一起到了山都望，务必要到 SIPANG 海角的灯塔探索探索。 7.30am - We start to hike from the Permai Rainforest Resort, this will be the west coast of the Santubong peninsular. This trip is to explore the east side of the Santubong peninsular, and continue with a steep hike up to Santubong summit no.3 at 815m ASL. The total trip took me about 15 hours to complete, and this is the first time I hike for so long in one day. Start our journey at the Jalan Sultan Tengah, 400m away from the Cove 55 hotel. We start at 6am sharp.  A lot of steam crossing, I hike to this place before while on my way to Nanga Shanti .  Crystal clear stream flows all the way from Santubong, and our mission today is to explore to the source of this stream.  Unknown fruits on the bank.  The Santubong Eastern Waterfall, estimate about 40 meter drop. One of the highest waterfall in Kuching area.
