Kampung Sting and Bung Jogong Mount Exploration Trip 婆罗洲探险者的“史汀”村攻顶探险

The Bengoh Dam serve as a water reservoir dam for storage of raw water supply, raw water will be release for the Batu Kitang Water Treament Plant, and prevention of back flow of the saline water from reaching the Batu Kitang intake point, lastly is for flood mitigation during wet seasons.

位于古晋十哩的“泵供” 水坝的功用是个用于储存原水供应的水坝。防止盐水回流到七哩储水池的吸入点，也用于用于在雨季时的防洪系统。

However, the drawback of building the damn…for the Bidayuh people, one of the ethnic groups in Sarawak, face a threat to their livelihood, traditional lands and culture with the development of the controversial Bengoh Dam. 

Not to forget deforestation or logging for construction of the dam reservoir will eventually reduce the vegetation and the forest’s absorption capacity. When this happens, I know a group of Chinese environment care NGO which has this objective of care for the environment, yet all they do is just talk but no action. 

Staying in their comfort zone, updating their facebook group page with insect and plants picture that they shoot at their backyard. The real problem lies here, where they need to stand up and voice their oppinion when there are deforestation, where they are illegal logging.

Sigh...well enough said, let’s go for adventure…

有利就有弊，在那里居住的“比达友”族就面临生计的威胁，他们的文化，传统，将会被水淹盖。当然也不要忘了在那里的动物与植物，都将会被水一一的覆盖着，永不翻身。

在古晋我知道一组的非政府组织，宗旨是什么让野地依自然法则演替，什么保护自然物种，再来是推广自然生态保育观念，还有提供大众自然生态教育的机会与环境，等等一大堆。

不过我到过很多地方，都没有看见这些所谓的大自然组织在真正维护，对我来说这些不过是纸上谈兵，事情发生了只会对岸观火。反而我这里还起到一点作用。

唉~不说了，跟我一起开始探险吧 J

I visit the Kampung Sting with a boat, this is after the Bengoh dam impoundment at March 2015. Instead of hiking to the village, now we are using boat. 

Which took us about 15 mins to reach from the dam to the village. Then another 15-20 mins hike up to a steep slope, I enjoy every minute of the hike.

现在只能用船前往到“史汀”村，水坝前是步行。从水坝到“史汀”村的山脚下只有十五分钟时间，接着廿分钟步行斜坡到村庄，有点吃力，但是我很喜欢，可以流汗运动。

Here they have 2 – 3 homestays, visitor just paid an amount of money and the owner will take care of the boat ride, accommodation, and food. There are waterfalls nearby, but the committee here had some argument on the entrance fees, so not sure how much they charge for the entrance to the waterfall.

这里在村庄都被迁移了，只剩下一些不肯走。在这里，你只需还一次费用，就包括船费，住宿与食物。步行可以到瀑布，不过村民们还在商讨入门费用，所以我也不知道要还多少钱？之前是免费！

Next morning, my team and I woke up at about 4.30am. And we follow a friend to hike to the summit to see sunrise. Trail to the summit its about 1.90 km, 1h30m. The name of the mount is called Bung Jogong. We must go through the paddy field, and the special about this field is all the paddy are planted on the 75-degree steep slope.

第二天，我和队友在凌晨四点半起身，为了就是攻顶看日出。万万没想到攻顶的路不容易找，费了很多时间，最后靠一位识路的朋友才攻到顶。时间已经是接近八点了，但是景色还是很优美。远处的山脉被云海覆盖，太美了。

By the time we reach the summit, it was almost 8am. We had a wonderful time on the summit, and I get to witness the sea clouds covering the land bellow. More mountain ranges can be seen from far away.  

攻顶路程1.9公里，费了一小时半的时间。在路途上令我最好奇的还是种植在斜坡的稻草与胡椒，真的很斜呃，想不通他们是如何办到的。我问了当地人，可能我的马来语不好，所以他们很像没有抓到我的问题，哈哈

This is a beautiful place, and I hope that you who are now reading this, lets protect our beloved nature. Do not litter, and help to educate your friends and family also, only monkey litter. When we see rubbish in the jungle, we help to collect it.

无论如何，山河大地给我们这么漂亮的地方，我们有责任保护它们，爱惜它们。我们可以从最基本的不要乱丢垃圾开始，也请你帮我告诉你的亲戚朋友，如果看到垃圾，帮忙捡起来。我们起用行动改变。

Spat Waterfall Exploration near Sematan Silk Farm 靠近三马丹丝绸农场的瀑布游记

Besides camping, exploring waterfall is my second hobby. Its an enjoyment when I get to swim next to the waterfall, and let the water fall on my back. Its like a free massage to ease away the presure and worries. 

除了露营，我也非常喜欢瀑布。可以在瀑布底嬉水对我来说是一个享受，冰冷清凉的水从高处涌下来，打在我背上，可以让我享有自然的按摩，来疏解我一天的压力。

This is a waterfall situated near the Sematan Silk Farm, and behind the waterfall is the Pueh Mountain, which is the 3rd highest mountain in southern Sawawak, Borneo.

这瀑布是坐落在靠近三马丹丝绸农场，瀑布的山后是“ PUEH"山,南砂第三高山。

I like this place so much, but the problem here is littering. I suspect these litter might belongs to the people who visited this place. Mother nature gives us such wonderful present, we have to work together to cheris and protect it, not to make the place dirty.

美中不足之处就是垃圾，应该是在此嬉水的人留下的。大自然给我们的礼物，我们要珍惜。保护大自然，我们人人有责。

Take nothing but photos, and leave nothing but footprint!!!

拜访大自然后，摄影留下回忆，走过留下脚印。千万别留垃圾，或是破坏树林草木。

Rock Garden Mount Murud at Sarawak Borneo 砂劳越姆鲁山的岩石公园

Mount Murud is the highest and sacred peak mountain in Sarawak with 2423 meter above sea level, I treked up Murud Mount and camp at the SIB Church Camp (2,135 metres above sea level). The trek takes us up the northern flank of the mountain, offering a magnificient panoramic views of the surrounding mountain view. The Church Camp is the largest evangelical mountain church in the nation, a pilgrimage site for thousands of people. The church camp is the only place to stay on this adventure. 

姆鲁山是砂劳越最高的一座山峰，海拔2423米。我和队友们夜宿在半山腰的教堂，教堂旁边有大约二十多间的木屋，这是给信众们来朝圣住宿的地方。而我们就住在一栋两楼的宿舍，楼下有一间厨房。这里没有水电供应，喝是喝雨水，电有发电机，但是只有教堂有常年的活动时才使用（一年大约三次而已）。晚上气温下降到大约15度。

On my way up to the summit, I pass through a very different type of vegetation, the so called mossy forest, muddy trail route, waterfall ridge, and encounter beautiful carnivorous pitcher plants. What attracted me the most of this the Rock Garden.

往山顶的方向，一路会经过烂泥道，不同的植被森林，苔藓森林。而我最喜欢的就是这个岩石公园，这里有各式各样形状的大小岩石。

The Rock Garden are a plateau that had various kind of rock formation, some huge some small.

With a little bit of creative imagination, you can name some of the formation base on the shape of the rock, like this I think it looks like a foot?!

利用一点想象力，你就可以给这些岩石命名。像这个，本人觉得看起来像脚趾头，你呢？

这条嘛就像什么呢...? 😜

The SIB Church camp is at the Linanit mount, as there is a tiny white dot near the summit of the mount in this picture... that's the chuch camp.

我们住的教堂宿舍，就是在后面山中央的白点。有看见吗？

Me resting at one of the rock, its really hot that day. While I took this picture, I can felt the burn on my butt, but my friend wants to take the perfect picture, so ask me to stay there until he can get the shoot he wants 😅

当天天气炎热，不要看我帅气的坐在那里拍照。其实我的屁股就快被烫烧焦，我朋友因为要拿好角度，所以一直叫我不要动，给他拍照...我的妈呀~

Borneo Highland Penrissen Summit Exploration 婆罗洲高原朋里逊峰登山之旅

One of the most prominent highland in Sarawak is the Borneo Highland, its famous for its close to nature resort, the beautiful Indonesia border view point, the Penrissen Mount Summit trail, the misterious Batu Panggah, and its beautiful landscaping near the resort.

砂劳越最著名的高原非婆罗洲高原莫属。这里有一间度假屋，里面的食物只有提供素食。这里也有一个可以遥望加里曼丹边界的景点。还有一座神圣而且神秘的大石头"班亚石"，有一片漂亮无比的大草原，还有很多很多。。。

This place also has a few magnificient waterfall, like this Simangas waterfall which can be seen on the way up to the highland resort.

瀑布是我最喜欢的景点之一，这里有几个瀑布可以参观。这个“氏墁卡斯”瀑布就是在你要去高原度假屋的路上就可以看到了。

The different between a millipede and a centipedes is that millipedes have paired legs, while centipedes don't. For this picture, can you tell its a centipede or millipede?

千足虫有两种，第一种是它的脚都是双配双对，而第二种的就是密密麻麻的脚。

Found this gorgeos orchid at the steep cliff, its very danger to go over and take a close up picture, I've already zoom to the max with my SLR and this is what I get.

而这朵胡姬花就长在悬崖的旁边，我有点胆小，不敢爬过去拍近照。只能用相机的放大功能来拍。这朵非常的美。

This place are full of leeches, prepare some mint oil to get ride of this nasty little thing when it latched on your skin.

除了风景漂亮之外，这个地方也超多水蛭。一定会有一两只咬你，吸你的血。来这里时，记得带一瓶气凤油，水蛭特别怕这个味道，很见效。

Some of the famous cliff view that I know

1. White Cliffs of Dover, part of the English coastline facing the Strait of Dover and France.
2. Beachy Head, chalk headland in East Sussex, England.
3. Bunda cliffs, at the Eucla Basin that spreads from the western part of South Australia
4. Uluwatu Temple, perched on top of a steep cliff at Bali

and now in Kuching we have..

Tanjung Rhu, Bako National park

My team and I camp there for one night, when we just reach the place, there is this wow factor. As we can't believe in our own homeland Kuching have such beautiful place. Such breath taking views of the cliff, and the scenery on the edge of the cliff are magnificient.

在世界各地都有比较署名的悬崖海边，就如我所知道的是：

1. 位于多英国海岸线及多佛和法国海峡佛白色峭壁
2. 英国在东萨塞克斯郡，白垩陆岬的海滨头
3. 南澳大利亚西部的尤克啦盆地
4. 巴里岛的乌鲁瓦图寺坐落在一座漂亮的悬崖边

而在我的家乡砂劳越，古晋也有这类的悬崖美景。就是在巴哥国家公园，禺海角。

This Tanjung Rhu, a small penisular on the cost of the beach near Teluk Pandan Besar. A small headland can be view just not far from the rocky beach.

这是一个小半岛的海岸，最接近的海边叫 TELUK PANDAN BESAR (大斑斓海湾)，还这个石海湾对面还有一座小小岛，如果退潮相信应该可以步行到岛上。

We can enjoyed non stop sea breeze here, my hammock its at the trees there, can you see it?

我与队友们在这里露营一晚，有看见在树丛里我的吊床吗？

One of the problem here, is that there is no river for us to get fresh water. So if you plan to visit this place, make sure to bring enugh fresh water for drink, and bath.

在这个地方唯一的问题就是没有淡水，如果你要拜访此地，切记带够水来洗澡及饮用。

This little rest house had turn into a camp for my team to sleep that night.

这里唯一的凉亭，当晚变成了我队友们露营的地方。

Both of my friends are enjoying the view as well. You can imagin the scale of the whole place.

要知道这个地方有多大？看看我在对面的两位朋友，你大概就可以看到那个比例了。

That night, my friends are cooked dinner with firewood that we collect nearby. And the yellowist watrer in the bottle are the fresh water that we collect on our way here.

那天晚上，我们的晚上时用柴火烧的饭，而食水是在巴哥国家公园一路上的小溪捞的，色泽有点黄，这是因为渗透枯叶的关系。

We all just lye on the cliff surface, and look up to the starts and moon.

我们当晚就一起躺在悬崖上，谈天说地，看星星和月亮。
