Hi Guys, in today DM tutorial I'm gonna teach you guys on how to insert a frame into a photo. You can do so by using a FREE software called Picasa, which is a google product. Ok, I'll use a photo of my dear mum as an example to teach you how to insert frame in a photos. Lets go... Download the free Picasa here. 01. First after you finish install the picasa software, look for the icon, and double click to run the software. 02. Then, we have to select the photo that we want to insert frame. If you select one only, picasa will select all your photos in that album. So the trick here is to select 2 photos, and click on the "Create Photo Collage" button. 03. Ok, here we remove that 2nd photo. You just point your mouse pointer there, right click and select remove. 04. Then, we have to make sure that the photo is fit into that canvas. So we have to manually adjust the photo, you do this by dragging the little round button with your mouse, hold and drag. 05...

This is one of the local village in Kuching, Sarawak, called the Danu Village. One unique thing about this village is that to enter the village, we have to cross a suspension bridge. View the location here. The bridge is like a lifeline to the village, if it collapse the whole village people will not be able to either get in or out of the village. There is a huge river which separate the village and the outside world. When I reach there, saw kids swimming in the river. I step into the river to soak my feet, very cozy. And the stream water flows very quick. Is not hard to imagine the waterflow here after a big downpour. It will be like a moster... Upon entering the village, there is a mini flower garden, and they have a bunch of nice flower there. The village people park their cars outside the entrance, and life here are simple and quiet. After my friends and I visited the Annah Rais hotsprin g... we went to the homestay just opposite the entrance of hotspring. The homestay is run by a local villages people there, and the mum is the hotel manager, the father is the chef in the house, the two young daughter are the waiterss,and the brother is the ..... nop when I was there he just sat there are ate his lunch. This homestay provided a variety of tour packages, they have a daytrip tour, and also an overnight tour package (A total of 6 to be exact). The food there is super delicious, the father told us the he made the food aroma with local herb and spices, and blend them by using traditional way. All organic, no pesticide. So that is where the hotspring came from. The Dunuk village, this is a village situated here (click for map) . For the pass few years I've been visiting this village with my friends. 1. 2008 visitation to Dunuk Village 2. 2009 Visitation to Dunuk Village 3. 2010 visitation to Dunuk Village This year 2011, I get another change to revisit the village again. This time it was organised by the Tzu Chi Foundation (Kuching Branch) . This program is to offer the nearby village a free medical checkup, and medical treatment. Is a large scale program, so they require a lot of volunteer workers. I participated the programs with few of my friends. The setting up start at Saturday, and the treatment will starts at Sunday. My friends and I reach at Saturday, and after the setting up is done, we went roaming in the village, I shoot a lot of short clips there. I get to play with the village boys, overnight at the longhouse. I sleep around 9PM, and wakes up at 5AM, a very simple and healthy life. I had fun playing with the vill...

This is the class room that I studied when I'm in primary 1. The Primary 1 C class, on my first day at school at the year 1987. That time I’m 6 years old. I still remember on the first day, my Malay teacher taught me on how to spell Malay words, recognize vocals and vowel. I don’t know why, my teacher only teaches me once, and I can remember all of it. And from then, I can read most of the Malay words. This is the “dungeon” next to my primary 1 classroom. I have a gifted drawing talent when I was a kid, and one day, I invited a few of my buddies to come and paint on the wall with me. Yep…and then the teacher caught me and my gang. Then my teacher hit us with rattan, and said that we MUST clean the wall with our painting on it. One of my friends got so scare that while we are doing our cleaning with wet clothes, he cried the whole process. I was thinking that time what the hell he wanted to cry like that, the teacher are just hit us with rattan, and clean the wall. There is...

Establish in 1917, and the first classroom is at the 1st floor of the old Limbang market. That time there were only a few students available, and this is how the school start. The committee members of the school emphasize that the growth of Chinese Education is a virtue. So they start to form a formal committee group with proper organization chart. And also started to raise money from the public to build a bigger and better school for the children, for them to have a secure future ahead. The “Fu Tek Chi” hall was build on the year 1937 with the kind donation from the school committee and public. And it was officially launch by the year 1938. The hall was marked with four words 礼义廉耻(li3 yi4 lian2 chi3) which are, “Manners”, “Morality”, “honest”, and “disgrace”. And to put all of this four words together is means “Honesty and Honor” This four words is the essence teaching of the Great Confucius, and it is the school motto of SRB Chung Hwa school. On my last day at Kota Kinabalu, my family and I went to the Sabah Zoo a.k.a Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. This is the park that runs by the Sabah wildlife department, under the ministry of tourism Sabah. Back in Kuching, Sarawak. We also have the ministry of tourism, and we also have a wildlife department. But just that the officer here they like to do paperwork, so the all tourism dude they will stay in the office for 360 days, just by doing paperwork, and write on the paper on how the tourism industry at Sarawak will growth. And wait for the payday, Very effective right, I salute them :) Back to the Sabah zoo, the park has more than 100 species of mammals including birds, which all kept in captivity. They also have a botanical garden, an herbal and a ginger garden. What I enjoyed most is the animal show which starts 11AM and 3PM daily. They really train the animals well, as they have orang utan showing off his strength by peeling the coconut, snake hiding in the audients seat, ...

What is this? Dairy Milk? The Milk Cows? cozy weather? is this New Zealand? Nah, I''m at Kundasang, Sabah now. and I'm on my way to to the Sabah Dairy Milk farm. It is a steep driving to the Desa Milk Farm, but when almost reach the top, cozy weather again :) I really enjoy the cozy weather here, don't get this kind of weather back in Kuching. Mum are so happy when she saw the flowers along the road, the place are full of flourish flowers. There are entrance fees to go into the farm, not sure how much, my brother pay for it. There are like over 50 herd of cows, and there are cow poo everywhere. We get to see how is the milk machine looks like, they will milk the cow every 3PM. And we also get to see how they process the raw milk, but this is not for us to drink, but is for the little cow cubs. My next stop is to visit the strawberry garden, and I’m so excited about it. The garden is a private own garden, they have hotel, and the strawberry is like an attraction for the tourists to come and stay at the hotel. The daughter of the owner told us that actually they have a bigger farm, purely for planting strawberries. This small one is just for visitor, so I asked if I can eat these strawberries. She told me that they just spray the pesticide and is not advisable to eat it :( I like the flowers, the flowers flourish beautifully. Maybe is due to the cozy weather…I don’t know… but surely I can’t see such beautiful flowers around my neighborhood. Mum likes the flowers very much, she keep on reminding us to stop by the road side if there is any flowers stall, cause she wants to buy the seeds back to plant it. Tsk tsk…. The panorama view on top of the Kinabalu Park We finally reached the Kinabalu Park after hours of driving. We're excited cause able to visit the highest Mountain in the Southeast Asia, the Mount Kinabalu. I'm happy to become the family photographer, and keep on taking good picture with my family. The weather up there are super cozy, I went to wash my hand, the water are freezing!!! and the mist keep on floating by just in front of me, the visibility are low. We visited the starting point to climb the mount, and there is a second floor actually, but is under renovation now. My brothers and I sneak into the construction site to have a look to check the workers if they are working or not. Just as I thought, they are sleeping there. Hey, the weather is cozy, who can resit this right. We took a lot of photos there, cause the view are nicer up there. Then, we checked in at the place that we stay for that night. A video I made from Kota Kinabalu stop by at Nabalu Village The journey to Kinabalu Park will takes about 1 1/2 hours, there are a lot of tourist attraction along the way. It was a uphill car ride, and the part that I like most is that the higher we get, the colder we felt. And while driving I even can touch the mist :D Before we reach the Kinabalu Park, we stop by at a village called the Nabalu Village. Here the village people build a stage looking platform. And we get to enjoy this magnificent scene of hills, all covered by mist. From far away, we can saw there are also houses all over the hills. The people who live there are so lucky as they get to enjoy the wonderful environment everyday. There are also plants all over the hills, due to the cold weather here, a lot of beautiful flowers can be seen. They grow like wildfire, spreading here and there. Waterfall seen from a far distant. Here not just souvenirs, they also sells a lot of pineapple, watermelon, ...

This is Day#2 on my Sabah trip, and today we will be going to Kinabalu Park which is about 90KM from Kota Kinabalu town. And tonight we are going to have steamboat as dinner. This is how the fish market looks like Wake up at 6am, and reach the fish market before 7am. I seldom go to the fish market, don't like it there. Kerry is a big fan of seafood, so he's excited when we're there. He bought a lot of fish, clams, crab, squids, and prawns. Is a busy market, and one thing that surprise me is that a lot of small kids are working here as well. Pity when seeing kids working at the fish market here, they should be in school studying not here working. I can't stand the fish smell, so I opt to wait outside the fish market, while my parent continue seafood shopping. Basket of fish keep on loading into the market, it looks very scary on the amount of fishes they have here. And this is just a small part of it, as there is more still in the fishing boat. ...

First Day at Kota Kinabalu was fantastic, and we went for a place called Gaya Seafood restaurant for dinner. When at Sabah, my brother keep on reminding us that we the seafood is a must have in our menu. It was a huge restaurant, and just beside the restaurant is a building specially for gambling slot machines. L-R: Jason, Ah Hee, Kerry, Mum and Dad. I don’t like seafood, only ate a little bit. So I ate almost 80% of the bean curd. And ate most of the vegetable as well, and I’m slowly learning to become a vegetarian now. We had this delicious fried rice instead of normal white rice. I didn’t eat the shell food, it looks discussing. My brother keep on asking me to try the lobster, so I had one. Overall our total bill came out not more than RM150, and this is not what we expected. It should be more than that, but hey, Sabah is loaded with seafood. My brother was happy about that, but next time I would prefer we all go for vegetarian. Cheers, Wilson Don’t like seafood…
